Oh, my word! That was awesome! Trey had his first official JV Bullock Creek High School football game tonight and I just want to say how proud I am of my boy! ;o) I never thought of myself as being one that would get into football much but this just might be what piques my interest...watching my boys.

Come out of your "tomb" and start living!
John 11:43 & 44
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."
Do you ever feel like you're in a cocoon, restraints or perhaps a "tomb"? Anything that might prohibit you from moving around, stretching your legs...growing?
I just started the new Beth Moore study, Living Beyond Yourself and it is very good so far. She made a statement within her study that God brought about in my life awhile back and it was a nice reminder to hear again. This is what she said..."My purpose is beyond me". We need to start living for him daily...every second of every day. What He may ask of us may be out of our element and most likely will be something that will be beyond our normal routine and what we think we are capable of. One thing that I have learned and I am so very thankful of is that if we are truly living for Him...we are capable of anything He asks us to do.
Philippians 3:12-14
I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
One last thought that she made part of her study...
Through the infiltrating power of the Holy Spirit, I can...
Do things I couldn't.
Feel things I didn't.
Know things I wouldn't.
I pray that we all can see the power of God in our lives and come out of our "tombs" and start living COMPLETELY in Him!
